Ingredients:
2 ounces Kentucky Bourbon
1 tablespoon Simple Mint Syrup
Crushed shaved ice
Fresh mint (Garnish)
Simple Mint Syrup:
Boil together 2 cups of water with 8 bruised mint sprigs and 2 cups of granulated sugar for 5 minutes. Refrigerate overnight.
Fill a Julep cup with crushed shaved ice, add 1 tbs. of Mint Syrup and 2 oz. bourbon. Stir rapidly to frost the cup, garnish with fresh mint. |
